Where does our information
come from? Basically just two places: the news media
and schools and both are highly controlled by
corporate interests.
The Internet is helping change this. One way the
Internet is helping is by exposing corporate and
government propaganda. Some of the most effective
corporate propaganda programs are the ones run by
the FOOD industry. Foods that are absolutely
dangerous to health are promoted as *essential* to
health. Talk about living in an "Alice in
Wonderland" world. Here's one common food that's on
most people's table. Practically everyone has been
taught it's not only healthy, it's also "wholesome."
The science - which you'll never see on TV - says
something very different. Eye opening and
surprising. Details from the Real Food Channel:

Which plastic
water bottles don't leach chemicals? by Vreni
Gurd | Thu, 03/29/2007(
2007, What?!) Plastic water
bottles are very convenient for carting
water around when we are on the go, as
they don't break if we drop them.
However, it is worth paying attention to
the type of plastic your water bottle is
made of, to ensure that the chemicals in
the plastic do not leach into the water.
If you taste plastic, you are drinking
it, so get yourself another bottle. To
be certain that you are choosing a
bottle that does not leach, check the
recycling symbol on your bottle. If it
is a #2 HDPE (high density
polyethylene), or a #4 LDPE (low density
polyethylene), or a #5 PP
(polypropylene), your bottle is fine.
The type of plastic bottle in which
water is usually sold is usually a #1,
and is only recommended for one time
use. Do not refill it. Better to use a
reusable water bottle, and fill it with
your own filtered water from home and
keep these single-use bottles out of the
landfill.

2008 With
news today that Iranian ships allegedly had an
"incident" with the U.S. Navy in the Persian Gulf,
I was reminded of the Gulf of Tonkin 'incident" and how
it turned out to be a false flag that led to the loss of
58,000 lives not to mention over a million Vietnamese lives.
I am also reminded of a recent report that claimed there was
no intelligence to support Iran putting together a nuclear
weapon. So, will we have another Gulf of Tonkin incident to
give them their pretext to expand their war? After all they
aren't going to be impeached as they should be, so they have
another entire year to escalate this and get fundng from
Congress for it since they never do anything but back down
concerning war. Do they think that the American people
forget the past? All I know is, we better learn to learn
from it.

In Operation Northwoods, former Chief of Staff, L. L. Limnitzer suggested
engaging in "false flag" operations in order to
justify invading Cuba. One such scenario involved attacking a
US Naval vessel and then blaming it on an unfriendly power.
On June 8, 1967, did President Johnson go
"operational" on Northwoods during the Israeli
"Six Day War" by ordering the USS Liberty, clearly
identified as a US vessel, into the vicinity in order for it
to be attacked by 3 Israeli Mirage 3 fighter bombers?
Fake Photos Alter Real

Some researchers are
worried that digitally altered photos could alter our
perceptions and memories of public events. The Rome
anti-war protest photograph was altered to show riot
police and a menacing, masked protester among the
crowd of demonstrators. When answering questions about
the events, the participants had differing
recollections of what happened. Those who viewed the
altered images of the Rome
protest recalled the demonstration as
violent and negative and recollected more physical
confrontation and property damage than actually
occurred. Participants who viewed the doctored photos
also said they were less inclined to take part in
future protests, according to the study, detailed in
the journal Applied Cognitive Psychology. more

Tami Silicio, A Maytag Aircraft cargo worker, took pictures of US soldier coffins returning from Iraq. Silicio said she wanted to show the care and dignity of the process with her pictures. She forwarded a single image to the Seattle Times, where it was run on their front page. Silicio was fired by her employer in response to the Pentagon's policy banning pictures of coffins being returned to the US.
